Tap at Hamamatsu. Roasty nose, cocoa, some coffee, rich and nice. Almost black, brown tints, with lace. Roasty chocolate flavor, light and a bit thin, a bit salty. Decent.

Golden color. Very clean nose that somehow reminded me of sprite. Medium body, not very aggressively bitter. Clean but not too exciting. Nice easy drinking lighter IPA

Tap at Watering Hole. Very faint grass and grapefruit on the nose. Some light orange as it warms. Bitter on the palate. Average to just below average carbonation with a medium to light body. Crackery malts. Pretty simple, one-dimensional APA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Quiet And Comfort on 04 Mar 2016 at 19:37 - Score: 6. Original review text: Grassy grapefruit. Orange very very faint nose. Bitter on the palate. Crackery malts. Just ok.

Tap at Watering Hole. Very faint nose with just a hint of biscuity malt. Straightforward malt on the palate. Average carbonation, medium body. As forgettable as a kolsch. Just a touch of hop bitterness on the finish. I guess it follows the style, but my question is why? Soft. --- Beer merged from original tick of The Girl Next Door on 04 Mar 2016 at 19:40 - Score: 5. Original review text: Faint malty nose. Simple malty taste. Very faint bitterness. Soft.

Tap at Watering Hole. Huge vanilla extract nose with some orange fanta and ginger ale notes. Orange cream soda on the palate with. Seriously? Reminds me of Johana, but I didn’t like Calm Before The Storm either. Cloying and hard to finish a sampler. --- Beer merged from original tick of Angel's Pillow Fight -- Orange Vanilla Cream Ale on 04 Mar 2016 at 19:43 - Score: 5. Original review text: Vanilla extract nose with light orange cream soda. Orange cream soda on the palate. Amateurish, but I didn't like calm before the storm...

Tap at DC Hama. Pitch black with a small brown head. Roasted malt, some light cacao and vanilla on the nose. As it warms more prune and raisin come out. Cola-like mouthfeel, medium body, not too sweet on the palate. Fairly one-dimensional. Maybe needs more time. Not bad, but again not that interesting really. Hid the booze fairly well. --- Beer merged from original tick of Midnight Seductress Imperial Stout on 29 Feb 2016 at 18:48 - Score: 6. Original review text: Not bad.

Tap at DC Hama. Malt-forward nose with caramel and toasted biscuit and light honey. Taste is very malty. Dry and bitter on the palate with the malt there to balance it out well. Finish is caramel-forward with a hint of hops. Run of the mill ESB. Not bad, but not that outstanding either. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blighty Devil ESB on 29 Feb 2016 at 19:10 - Score: 5. Original review text: Very simple and straightforward ESB

Poured into a shaker showing coffee brown rims, dark center and sparse lightly tanned foam. The nose shows a lot of vanilla with good hints of vanilla in the background. The palate is heavy carbonated and very foamy. Flavors of very forward vanilla (think vanilla coke) and an extremely strong orange fruit background. The finish shows a roasted malt bitterness.
