Tai Wai Beer – the brew for your crew
This is where our story begins: Taiwai - it is not only a place full of our brewer’s childhood memories, but also a local phrase that embodies the meaning of togetherness and sharing among friends.
Devoted to create a line-up with distinctive yet non-peculiar taste that bubbles with gentle and layered flavours, our brewer has been making relentless attempts in brewing and improving our very own beer, by incorporating traditional methods with innovative elements. Our beer is crafted with an aspiration that everyone can taste our characters and sincerity in a sip.

Bottle 3 years past the beat before date, hahaha. Dark brown, huge head. Roasted notes, earthy, a bit of plum, chocolate. Not much lager, surely dark. I have no idea how this was fresh, but after all these years this is still quite solid even though I don’t get the extra ingredients and it tastes like a stout mostly.

Dark roast and some toast. Deep dark brown with a rich beige head. Toast and some sweetness with lots of carbonation and a toasty finish. I think the style of beer really overwhelms the adjuncts.

330mL bottle at Craftissimo, pours A cloudy peachy blonde with a small white head. Nose is full of bright passionfruit, tempered a bit by the jasmine. Flavour brings out a beautiful mix of jasmine and passionfruit. Bright, fruity and floral in all the right ways. Great thirst quencher.

Tap at the Hong Kong Island Taphouse. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is cardboard malt, herbal, big chamomile. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth, fresh, grainy, creamy chamomile palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Draught at Cheers The Tap Room, Kowloon - Hong Kong, on October 7, 2017. As 20 cl pour in flight. When speaking to the staff at "Pazzeria Italian Brewery (Mong Kok)" they stated this beer was made for them, though available also at other places.Hazy golden color, white head. A tad almond paste, rather harsh, not pleasant taste. Harsh, almonds aftertaste. Medium full mouthfeel, medium though very high/dry/harsh feeling bitterness. Odd malty and almonds scent.4/3/3/4/5=1.9
