Description
Being a Dandy means falling hard into your internal fascinations, desires, and interests. Whatever they may be. Dandies ignore trends and styles and walk their own path. Every one of us has the chance to be a Dandy, most of us already are without knowing it, and we’re here to celebrate that.

The Dandy Brewing Company is Calgary's original little brewery that embraces being a Dandy whatever that looks like. We produce inspired beers, styles we have fallen in love with, in small batches with lots of care.

Our unique approach to brewing and a keen eye for detail fosters creativity in both our recipes and beer styles.

On-site, we are pleased to offer a unique brewery experience featuring a full-service tasting room restaurant with an exquisite menu of fine drinking food, a curated selection of cocktails, glass pours of selected wines, and a wide selection of Dandy beers brewed on-site.

We share a passion for not only brewing, but the people, processes, and experiences that make the experience so special.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow orange with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, mango, peach, pineapple, grapefruit, earthy yeast and weedy hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark mahogany colour. Dark caramel character, moderately sweet, bold, alcohol; it's a straigh-forward imperial stout, nothing mind-blowing, but quite tasty.

2021 vintage. Medium. This seems a bit thin, but on the palate it's got a fair bit of molasses/toffee notes. So it's husky, and a bit thin. I'd say needs work.

473mL can sampled at Weathered 2023, pours an opaque shit brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out lactose, fruity pithiness, and light oak. Flavour is muddy and with lots of stone fruit pithiness, muddy kveik yeast and lactose. A total mess. Not a disaster, just poorly executed.

473mL can sampled at Weathered 2023, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast and earthy hops. Flavour is rich, with lots of medium roasted malt, plenty of hops, and a touch of earthiness. Balanced well, though a hit jumbled and lacking cohesion. It's good.
