12oz at Phill's place shared with Alex. Appearance: dark brown with beige. Aroma: fruity, some ink, some grassy notes, roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: good Russian Imperial Stout, but it's too roasty for me.

473ml can. Pours a clear orange-pink with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of bready wheat malt and raspberry. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt and light pineapple in a dry, tart raspberry finish. Light body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Tasty and refreshing, but the pineapple is too subtle.

Sweet flavour of caramel malt, brown sugar, plum, raisin, fig, dark chocolate, licorice, light roast, Belgian yeast and clove in a dry, warming booze finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texure and soft carbonation. Really good, but aging this could make it really great. Looking forward to year 6!

Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, caramel, honey, vanilla, oak and light spicy hops in a clean, crisp, dry finish. Light body with a smooth, watery texture and average carbonation. I am assuming the same beer. Its BA Saison:Light. very light straw color. Very translucent for a Saison. Quick disappearing head. Nice brett nose with barnyard and green apples and oak in the nose. Oak is very pronounced. Tart, big brett note with barnyard and fruitiness underneath. Modest bitterness. A bit too text book and doesn’t really stretch boundaries but well made and beautifully executed.
