650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out wood varnish, some light red wine, and toasted bready malt. Flavour is a bit stale, with wood varnish and toasted bread malt. Not overly offensive, but this is off the mark big time. Not good.

On tap at the Underground in Edmonton. Has heavy hop notes with lager hints but no real mention of sourness on the nose. Good head though, and an okay yellow body. Flavour is an odd mix of sour citrus notes and a lager-ish back end. A little watery on the mouth. It’s not my kind of sour beer, seems like a hard style to do right for lots of breweries in this region.

On tap. (4.4%ABV) Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Sweet aroma of grapefruit, pine and grass. Sweet flavour of citrus, grass, light malt and pine needles with a dry, mildly bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

On tap at Coulee Brew Co. Pours a clear golden with a small, creamy, white head that laces. Aroma of grass, pine and a hint of tropical fruit. Sweet flavour of tropical fruit, grapefruit and pine with a dry, bitter, resiny hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Pretty impressive, for a new brewer.

Can - No thanks to the brewers or owners who say they are my friends... - Nice citrus and lots of aromatics. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Some citrus, a light citric acidity and a touch of pale malts. Nice start.

Hazy light golden color. Very austre nose with some grassy and doughy notes. The mouth is light, very dry with modest hops. A bit punchy. Finish is short and not too bitter. Overall, a low hopped session IPA, that has fair execution, but still could improve.

medium brown color. Thinnish body, great chocolate malt character. A bit too thin but not bad character.
