Bottle on 20th July 2026, received as gift. Pours a cloudy brown with lasting pale tan foam and full lacing. Pungent aroma with pines, resins and aniseeds. Spicy malts and sour citrus in mouth - lime. A finish of earthy pungencies, sours and spicy herbiness. Full body with smooth texture. An interesting ale.

Bottle on 4th June 2023, received as a gift. Pours thickly hazy amber with rapidly dissolving foam and no lacing. Citrus aroma with some yeasty notes. Citrus peel in-mouth with grapefruit juice. Tart citrus and bitterness in finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Draft at the Makati City brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy medium brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light alcohol. The flavour is light sweet, with a smooth, sweet, nutty, warm alcohol bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the Nipa taproom, Makati City. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, herbal, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, light, watery, earthy mineral, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

On tap at the tap room, pours a dark rootbeer brown, clumpy white head. Nose is feety, earthy, a little malt, trash, rootbeer candies. Flavor is better but not much, rootbeer, bean curd, earthy, black tea. Finishes mercifully watery. Woof. 4 2 5 2 8

On tap at the tap room, pours a crystal clear gold with some fluffy, white head. Some green melon, perfume, grass. Flavor has jade, perfume, herbs, some light citrus. Lightly watery finish. They wanted a NE style and even told me it was brewed with oats, but still this was off.
