Pours light watery brown with just some bubbles on the top. Malty grainy nose, sone caramel. Taste has light caramel, kind of grassy herbs and light tartness. Not too exciting.

turbid light amber color. Frothy white head. Pours very thick. Nose has lots of tropical fruit but I got bandaid character that wasn’t that appealing. Too much carbonation for ne ipa, medium bitterness but bandaid distracts. Ok.

dark brown color. Fairly sweet with lots of brown sugar, pear and burnt raisins and cherries. Fairly sweet but not cloying, very malty, definitely a new world take on the style. It’s ok for the style. Not amazing

Pretty average. Thin mouth not much roastiness, not a tons of character. Nothing wrong with it, but the weakest of the bunch.

Dark brown color. Little head. Very interesting chocolate, molasses, nuttiness and a touch of sugar cane in the nose. Nice start. Excellent baker’s chocolate and excellent chocolate malt character. I don’t find the need for inidia, I think this is a solid take on the style. Medium body, low roasted malt character. The malt really shines in this and chocolate goes on and on

Bottle from the Spektral Lounge, Makati. Poured a murky medium brown with a fizzy off white head. The aroma is malt, light chocolate, coffee. The flavour is light sweet with a light, watery, malt, light liquorice, dry earthy, light coffee, mildly infected medicinal palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

31/3/2018. Bottle from Drinkka, Philippines. Pours cloudy dark gold with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma of herb, citrus, veg and malt. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.

Tap at the Nipa Brew Taproom, Makati. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt, red berry fruits, light woody hop bitter. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, creamy nutty malt, light fruit, light spice, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
