Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of creamy mocha coffee, caramelised malt and chocolate. Taste has creamy mocha, coffee, milk chocolate, bitter caramelised malt and some fruity salty licorice. Good stuff.

Bottle at home. Pours golden amber, nose is caramel, toffee, leather, grapes, red wine, taste is sweet toffee, caramel, oak, thin.

33cl bottle. Dark brown pour with a medium height, lively tan head. The aroma includes roasted malts, molasses, dark chocolate and a bit of smoke - smells like an imperial stout to me. The taste notes include roasted malts, dark cherries, a bit of smoke, chocolate and cocoa. Medium body with high carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish.

Bottle, batch 5 (at koht). Pours black with beige head. Aroma is roast, malt, citrus. Flavor is bitter, roast, malt, dryness. Finish is dry bitter Drinkability is good. Overall: very good.

Bottle, batch 7. Pours amber with beige head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, citrus, some gooseberry. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, pears, malt, caramel. Drinkability is good. Finish is dry bitter with sweetness. Overall: very good.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pour pitch black with a decent, beige head. Hoppy, fruity and moderate roasty aroma with pine, citrus, herbal notes and hints of spices. Moderate to medium sweet with nice, fairly complex flavours and a balanced bitterness. Surprisingly smooth and really enjoyable to drink. Certainly a nice one!

Draught @ Hell Hunt. Aroma has sweet malt and resiny tones. Flavour has resin, dry woody tones, some menthol and some licorice root. Also some odd plastic/cardboard-like flavour. Confusing.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours almost completely clear golden with a modest, white head. Fruity, hoppy and citrusy aroma with mild malty notes. Moderate sweet with citrus peel dominating the flavour and a rather pleasant bitterness. Tasty, refreshing and sessionable.

Bottle, batch 1, BB 28.02.17 (from UJH). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is very hoppy, very sweet, citrus, grapefruit, orange, sugar. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, grapefruit, orange, malt, wheat. Finish is dry-grapefruit bitter. Body is light. Overall: very good, bit too thin for me (this is typical for the style), but the fresh and clean hoppy punch is good enough to overlook it. Batch 8, BB 19.06.17. A lot thinner, emptier, more simple. Doesn’t have the punch the first batch had (a recipe change?!). Still a solid beer, but rating for this batch would be closer to 3.2-3,3. I’m disappointed. Tap at pudel 18.04.2017, no idea of batch. Again really watery, some harshness bordering metallic. Solid, but clearly in 3.2 or even less territory now. It was confirmed to me that they changed some things between batch 1 and 8, and this tastes even worse than batch 8 from bottle... Bring back the old goodness!

33cl bottle from Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Pours clear dark mahogany with a medium off-white to beige head. Malty, mild fruity and rather caramelly aroma with notes of rye, citrus and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet, medium flavour intensity and a pleasant bitterness. Balanced and tasty brew.
