Can. Pours golden. Grapefruit nose. Very grapefruit forward with some slight funk. The bitterness is fleeting. Sort of works if you don't fixate (oops) on it being an IPA.

500ml can packaged 3 weeks ago. Bright gold and hazy with creamy white head. Pineapple nose. Very pillowy mouthfeel. Nice hints of coconut too. A pure pleasure.

500ml can from brewery (packaged 3 weeks ago). Pours hazy gold. Lush mango and resin nose with definite wafts of mulchy grass cuttings. And it's all that and more in the glass. The overripe tropical fruit is there in spades along with the green stuff. It really works, and burns just a bit on the throat. This is the sort of beer I expect and respect from these guys.

Can from Beermash in Melbourne, bought in February 2020. A bit hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of hops, passionfruit, citrus, some pineapple and light grass. The same in the taste. The finish was quite bitter. Quite nice.

Can. Gold with a doming white head that lasts really well. A little hazy. Isn't it cheating to have a beer in this substyle that's not hideous? Aroma of oranges, lychees, passionfruit. Sweet with some crackery malt and lots of fruit. More tropical fruit - pineapple, some mango - towards the bitter finish. It's tasty like a really good 5% golden ale - but it's 7.3%.
