Tap at the Ballarat Beer Festival, 2018. Poured a hazy medium brown colour with a frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, smoke, sweet vanillla, dry coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a dry smoky malt, dry mineral saccharine hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can. Moderately hazy gold with a modest white head. Fruity and somewhat herbal aroma with pink grapefruit and pineapple. Slightly gritty! Sweet and juicy with the citrus falling between grapefruit and orange. Tropical notes are there but as much mango and lychee as pineappple. Bitterness is enough to keep it tasting like a beer. Light on for 6.5%, but OK.

Bottle 330ml. Almost black, beige head, great lacing. Aroma is malty cereal-like, a little bit roasty and chocolate of course. Chocolate in taste with small note of vanilla, roasty and delicate cereal from malts. Medium body but light in feeling with a little bit watery finish, smooth and drinkable. Decent, tasty porter.

From a 500ml bottle on 7/5/2017 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours dark dark brown with a small head. Has a mild slightly roasty nose. The flavour features some chocolate and a good dose of vanilla, with a moderate bitterness at the back Full bodied with average carbonation. A solid, line and length porter.

Can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear yellow straw colour with a round white head. The aroma is mineral aspirin metallic hop. The flavour is super light bitter with a light watery mineral light sickly sweet malt, resin hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation. A session ale? Let’s hope it’s a short one! Lovely can though. I swear it was pining for the fjords :-)

375ml can into glass. Good aroma, spice, fruit, cream, hops. Cloudy amber beer with thin film on top. Flat mouthfeel. Bitter taste. Finish is a mixture of spice and sharp hoppy bitterness. Great unusual beer.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is resin hop, mineral. The flavour is light bitter with a watery light mineral light woody hop bitter palate with a light watery nondeScript finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. This beer is a real hop dodger. It tastes like a low alcohol beer. In a word... urrrgghh.

Can. Hazy. Pale. Fruity, orange, light bitterness. Touch of pale malt sweetness. Not enough bitterness for the style, and nothing else improved it.

330ml bottle into shaker. Subtle aroma, malty, mango, herbs. Cloudy bronze/orange beer with white head. A random bubble appears occasionally. Oily texture, full bodied. Flat with a touch of bitterness. The finish is grapefruit, herbs and mango. Excellent.
