(Can) Pours opaque amber yellow with small white head. Pleasant tangy fruity aroma - citrus, apricot with floral hints. Full bodied like slightly watered fruit juice with modest bright carbonation - rather like mango juice and champagne. Great taste, but if I had not poured it myself from the can, I might not have identified it as beer - fruit juice and a dry sparkling wine would have been my blind-tasting guess. So, yes, plenty of fruit in the taste. There is a pleasant sourness that is on more careful tasting sour beer not fruit. Marigolds and almonds? I couldn’t identify them. There’s not a lot of evolution of the taste through the palate - the fruitiness is more apparent at the start and the sourness in the finish. Interesting, very drinkable; perhaps a bit strange as a beer, but, despite the odd ingredients, not strange as a drink.

355ml can into schooner glass. Great nose of tropical fruit, touch of malt, hint of wood shavings. Golden amber beer with a solid head of foam. Slight haze, high carbonation. Medium body. Taste and finish are bitter and cleansing. Well balanced with lingering notes of malt and aspirin. Nice.

Glass on tap at Beermash, Collingwood. Cloudy orange beer with a thin white head. Faint nose of doughy malt, a touch of citrus maybe. Some patchy lacing. Hugely drinkable, you can easily slam this. Notes of grapefruit and pepper lead to a lingering bitter lemon finish. One of the best NEIPA's I've had.

Amber. Wet straw and stonefruit nose with some esters. Slightly cheesy taste, with rockmelon and almost saison yeast profile. Intriguing hop harvest choices. Does work.

Can, pkd 19/2/19. Not quite clear gold with a white head that fades. 3- Aroma of hay, herbs, light berries, a little touch of cardboard. Light bodied, getting towards watery. Hayish malt, neither sweet nor rich. Firm bitter finish is grassy and herbal. OK, not far off good. No points off for "froff". --- Beer merged from original tick of Staunch on 18 Mar 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6.
