Can at the Metropolitan hotel. Slightly pinkish colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are slight tart berry fruity. Thin body.

(On tap) Clear amber with big white head. Nice aroma with passion fruit and stone fruit. Medium body with fine bright carbonation. Juicy fruity flavours with some light caramel sweetness and a little bitterness in the finish. Very drinkable.

Can. Amber with a white head. Aroma of peach, passionfruit, guava, mandarin, light bread. A bit vague in the middle. Given a bit more structure with some pine needles in the taste, as the sweet fruit gets towards a fairly bitter finish. Fair enough.

Chocolate raison spice Thick mouthfeel. Lovely

Pours dark brown almost black with an instantly dissipating head.Nose shows woody notes, toast, soft berry characters.Flavours include herbaceous gin notes, a bit of toasty malt and soft roast. Some funk and light acidity also.

Tap. Cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma of slightly honeyed hay, light spices. Light bodied. Dryish but with firm hayish malt, snappy bitterness. Guzzleable.

Can. Amber. Almost clear with a cm of white head. Aroma of pine, breadcrust, some citrus. Sweet. Some tropical notes emerge upon a taste and it's lighter than suggested by the aroma. Wanted a little more finishing bitterness.

Can. Black. A scant coat of light tan head is soon at the rim. Aroma of mocha, whiskey, roast, seaweed, dark berry reduction. 8- More prominent whiskey in the taste, which edges up on too sweet but is reined in a little by moderate bitterness and oak. I really like the finish but (as often) wanted more beer and less wet barrel.
