Can. Amber with a large just off-white head. 3+ Aroma of kumquat, some mango, breadcrust, a a little pine. Just getting towards medium bodied. Breadcrust sweetness, citrus, some tropical notes , piny bitter finish. Pack a decent punch for 5.9%. A tad old fashioned but that's something I'm often happy to find with IPAs.

Can from a fun 12 pack from Bad Shepherd. Amber. Grapefruit on nose. That's the last you see it. Much more of a maltfest. Indeed it's more a Frank Sinatra classic My Way, than a punky Sid Viscious cover version.

Pours amber, large lasting head.Nose shows grapefruit, spicy and earthy hops, soft clean malt.Flavours include herbal hops, a bit of grapefruit, a touch of grainy malt and an assertive bitterness.

On tap. Slightly opaque gold. BIG tropical nose with some pine. That balanced double punch keeps on coming through the whole glass. So good to get a real West Coast(s) IPA with unashamed oomph. Metallica would have been proud (this was supposed to accompany them on the cancelled Aussie tour I believe).

Can. Hazy orange with an inch of white head. Aroma of cloves, mandarin, lemon, pepper, banana. Tastes follows, although the banana (unhappily for me) is more prominent. The addition is noticeable but fits fine.

On tap at Brewdog Tower Hill. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. Yes some fruit flavour on this. Apricot peach nectarine. Has the yoghurt kettle sour aroma. Some lactose maybe. Milk bottle sweets. Not unpleasant just not sure what ism drinking .
