Can. Very black, tan coat is fairly swiftly at the rim. Roast, fudgy mocha, whisky aroma. Just short of syrupy. Some overt booze. Briefly sweet with lots of heavy roast and singed/ burnt notes, oak. The base stout must be pretty raucous. Roasty, dry and oaked at the end. Interesting to try again in a year or two, but fun if assertive now.

In the future, every proprietary yeast strain will have its own IPA style for 15 minutes - Andy Warhol, probably. Can. Cloudy amber, a fat coat of white head. Aroma of kumquat, pineapple, some peach, light bread. It is indeed cleaner than it looks and quite fruity, but with a little astringency and modest bitterness. Tasty.

From a 375ml can on 15/7/2025. Pours a deep brown with a small to medium light tan head. The nose feature a good whiff of coffee with some light roasty notes. Coffee also dominates the taste, with dark chocolate, a bit of caramel and perhaps just a hint of the promised donut. Finishes with a light roasty bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not super dessertish, but very nicely balanced and pretty assertive for the size. Good stuff.

Missed the event but caught a few of the beers (although CTRL not among them) Can. Fairly pale gold with a brief white head. Aroma of citrus, soft tropical fruit, crackers. The softness does not continue through to the palate - it's clean and a little harsh with bitter and somewhat astringent herbal notes.

Can. Opaque brownish orange with a modest white head. Aroma of peach, barely ripe tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), herbs. Fruity and a tad chalky initially then it kind of sags with just a little herbal and lawn clipping astringency as it departs.

Can. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of pine, spices, grilled grapefruit, biscuit. So it tastes. Fairly sweet with lots of pine creeping out of caramel and biscuit before a finish that's not dry but is firmly bitter. Is what it promises.

Can, date illegible. Yes, dirty copper with a small beige head. Aroma of breadcrust, some stewed fruit, oranges, pine. Thinnish. Not really sweet at all with breadcrust and a dry bitter finish. OK, but I wonder whether this is past it.
