Tap at the Azyl fest. Bit sulfury, floral aroma. Lean, dry, herbal, bit rustic, yeasty, low sulfur, bit minerally, quite drinkable, good stuff! Imperfect and yet beats most others I've had today!

Pours a very nice deep golden, almost completely clear. Surprisingly doesn't get much head, good enough retention, a bit of lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: hay/straw, slightly crackery malts, a quite vivid honey note, a hint of chamomille. Delicate but decently refreshing classic saaz notes (citric/cedary, slightly prickly, a grassy hint). Taste notes follow the aroma very closely, again with average intensity. Good definition, decent fresh feel. Overall medium sweet and medium bitter, a light sweet edge in the mouth and a balanced finish with a touch of dry bitterness. Quite light in body, with delicate low to medium carbonation; easily drinkable and decently lively. A very traditional czech pilsner, with a slight more emphasis on malts than average. Quite good but not remarkable to me, couldn't find any highlights.

Pours a pretty clear deep golden, with a quite big sized white head, good enough retention, a bit of lacing. Quite good intensity in the aroma: a not too timid cerealish malts, hay base, strong honey notes, light but decently fresh-feeling citric and grassy hints on the back of things. Simple and clean. Taste notes follow the aroma: dominant honey (perhaps a tad too dominant) over an almost fragrant grainy base, very subdued citric and grassy notes (more subdued than the aroma suggested). Quite high sweetness, low to medium bitterness, enough to deliver a decently dry finish. Very sweet in the mouth, a bit less sweet in finish/aftertaste; still a bit more sweet than i expected even for a honey lager and indeed a bit too much for my ideal liking, but clean, well polished and not at all unpleasant. Light to medium body, light to medium, quite delicate carbonation; easily drinkable and slightly oily. Overall fine enough.

1L Bottle - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Grain and some subtle hints of grass and honey in the aroma. Grassy hops, bread, herbs and some grainy notes in the taste.

Nice looking deep amber, almost perfectly transparent, a bit transulcent through light. Medium sized, rather dense white head, shows quite good retention and nice lacing. Quite good intensity in the aroma: decently deep maltiness with caramel upfront, hints of nuttiness and honey, some worty reminiscence. Hints of herbal, prickly hops with a hint of earthiness. Taste shows more bitterness than the aroma suggested: malty notes more or less as per aroma (more nuttiness, no or close to no honey), hop notes are very lightly citric/herbal in the mouth and quite vividly earthy/leafy in finish/aftertaste. Packs more flavour than expected with sweetness and bitterness both pretty vivid, overall in good balance. Medium body (surprisingly dense bodied for the abv) with average to high though fine bubbled carbonation; feels very full per style and abv and slightly heavy on both mouth and stomach; that's strange, doesn't fit well. Overall a very interesting beer, kind of in the middle between a polotmavy and a vidensky, pretty flavourful and well balanced but ruined by a heavy mouthfeel.

Tap at Slunce ve skle 2024. Clear coppery body, off-white head. Grainy malty aroma, slightly fruity. Lean, dry caramelly, fruity taste, quite okay, but wasn't for more.

Can from Pivny Raj, Olomouc. Golden color with thick white head. Aroam of malt, moderate nobel hops. Taste starts malty followed by nice portion of noble hops. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Very good.
