part of a 6er of beers from BC at the LCBO.
Clear copper pour, small white head. light citrus, grass, and some wet paper. seems like all the other beers in this 6er, this beer is quite old. The hops have faded quite a bit, i can see where there was promiss at one point. The bitterness is there, its nice and pithy. Some more citrus notes, with touches of pine in the finish. The hops have gotten quite earthy, but arnt totally unpleasant.

473mL can, pours a clear golden amber with a small white head. Aroma has big resinous hops, a touch of pine, some grapefruit, and a heavy chewy caramel malt base. Flavour is both malty and hoppy, with a bitter grapefruit rind character, plenty of resinous hop oils, a touch of pine, and a fat caramel malt backbone. Very chewy and malty, but doesn't skimp on the hops. Very old school. Very good.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with full head. Aromas of jammy stoned fruit, muddled tropical fruit leaning towards pineapple, doughy malts and a bit of pine. Flavors follow same with additional breadfruit and passionfruit. Heavy for the series but really nice

Dark gold, chill haze, and a fairly thick head. Clean biscuity malts. Lemony, slightly piney hop. El Dorado is always a favourite.

473mL can, pours a clear copper with a medum white head. Aroma reveals some strawberry-like hops, a touch of melon, some earthy spiciness, and bready malt. Flavour bursts with fresh tropical hops -- lots of passionfruit, strawberry, some citrus, bitter grapefruit, and melon -- with a sufficiently sweet bready malt base. Though it's much on the aromatics, the flavour profile is very satisfying. Excellent.
