Draft at the United People’s Brewery, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear light golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a light, slightly watery crisp, light lemon citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

330ml can at the Fat Cow, Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Poured almost black in colour with little life. The aroma is roasty malt, big chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, big chocolate orange, liqourice, warm alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Fat Cow, Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Poured a mostly clear, golden colour, with a thin white head. The aroma is big lime. The flavour is moderate sour and sweet, with a crisp lime citrus, sweet honey, light sea salt palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Always a big selling point when bartender gives you a taster of a beer and says This is illegal. Adds positive points in my skewed world view, like Victoria's Secret. Mango and some snakeskin fruit just because I like to imagine local tropical fruit infusions. Hazy yellow pour. Green onion. Hop tang finish. Tap at Baan.

7 3 7 3 15Draft at YOLO, Bangkok. Fairly hazy orange with a thick off white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, pineapple and light malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Let the Girl Kill, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery, crisp, fresh, light grapefruit, peppermint hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. The ABV is perhaps a little high for a Session IPA but there is plenty going on here and it’s rather drinkable.
