Description
In Peccatum Craft Beer was born in 2013 under the brand name Cerveza Keltius, brewing Belgian-style beers in a small brewpub in the city of Ourense.
In 2015 it was decided to dispense with the brewpub and move to an industrial estate, dedicating ourselves 100% to manufacturing and distribution, and acquiring new equipment and machinery that allowed us to triple the production volume and automate much of the process. The company aspires to continue growing and improving the quality of its beers day by day.

Spanish DIPA hopped with Simcoe and Mandarina Bavaria, tasted at the metal bar section of the tenth Gents Bierfestival. Snow white, medium thick, cobweb-lacing, stable head over a hazy orange-tinged peach blonde beer. Aroma of fresh orange zest, pink grapefruit, mandarin, wormwood, melon, fried potato chips, paprika powder, gin, biscuit, some pine resin. Sweetish-fruity onset in a cleanish way, mango, lychee, papaja, orange, medium carbonated with a soft, bit oily mouthfeel; soft caramelly and biscuity malt body soaked in very citric, spicy hoppiness, providing a colourful orange-like zestiness as well as sufficient bitterness to deserve the ‘old school’ tag the brewer attached to this beer himself. Zesty, boozy finish, the hop bitterness briefly highlighted by gin-like alcohol. Very ‘orangey’ IPA, softer still than the old school West Coast DIPAs upon which it is inspired, but a very highly drinkable beer in any case and among the best In Peccatums I had so far.

Short-lived white head over hazy ochre beer. Ureum-rich hosp, on top of sweetish soft drink. Bitterish, bananapeel, lemonpeel, if not very sourish. Bit cheesy, one more. Some astringency, slick, hopoil-wise. Low carbonation. Not a gem in its style.
