Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Aroma of raisin, ripe fruit, malt and glue. Taste has sweet booze, ripe fruit and again booze. No bourbon to be found.

Red brown colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of malts, bourbon, vanilla and ethanol. Sweet flavour, booze and malts. Finish malts and booze.

Thank you Benzai! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ ZZT 2016-1. BBF 12/2025. Dark red amber, little bubbles. Nose is overly vegetable, herbal with light fruit & toffee. Taste is sweet varnish, rotting fruit, herbal, vegetable, alcoholic, glue, barrel, touch sour. Body is herbal, sugar, caramel. Bit of a mess in my opinion.

Sampled from bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Clear amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, bourbon, sweet, overripe dark fruits, alcohol. Medium body and carbonation. Hmm ok beer.

Marrón caoba, turbia. Efervescente al servir, espuma efimera. Aroma licórico, barrica. En boca mantiene efervescencia y tono claramente de licor. Cuerpo moderado, ligera en boca, no densa ni cremosa. Sabor complejo. Malteada, uva pasa, plum-cake. Calor alcohólico. Potente.

On-tap at La Cervecita Nuestra De Cada Dia with the 2016 RBESG guys. Hazy mid-brown pour with a beige head. Red berries and hedgerow fruits alongside a red wine flavour. A little sweet in nature but very drinkable, mild bitterness and sourness arrived as the beer warmed a bit.

Sampled from tap at ’Uiltje Bar’. Clear, dark brownish amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, malty and a little fruity aroma of caramel, vanilla (bourbon), candied apricot and a touch of oak. Sweet, very malty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, vanilla (bourbon), honey, some rye, candied apricot and some oak, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, a little warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, but not that over-whelming. Didn’t get anything of the promised smoke though.
