Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light sour, with a crisp, fresh, tart fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A solid beer and nicely balanced. A Gose for people that don’t even like Gose!

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is caramel malt, light red berry fruits, nutty, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth, rich sweet malt, fruity, dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Probably not entirely true to the style but arguably better!

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, boozy absinthe. The flavour is alcohol bitter bitter with a crisp, boozy, yeasty, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Tasted a little stronger than the advertised 8.2%. A strange combination of flavours that didn’t really work for me and quite honestly I didn’t expect it to anyway!
