Description
SingleCut Beersmiths was founded by Queens/NYC born, music-obsessed brewer Rich Buceta, whose life-long passions led to a place where hops and vinyl could shine side by side. After years of homebrewing and professional stints around NYC, Rich was true to his dream, diving headfirst into the brewing world. “My obsession is creating original hop-driven beer; distinguished by a firm respect and admiration for West Coast pioneers, and bending that to our East Coast / NYC interpretation.” Since opening in 2012, and with the help of an equally talented and devoted team, SingleCut has gained a loyal following throughout the East-Coast’s most respected markets. With his steadfast determination for the perfect pint, Rich penned "Mastery Knows No Shortcut" as the SingleCut mission statement. “It boils down to always demanding greatness, never compromising, and always play it at maximum volume.”

16 ounce can. Hazy peach colored pour. Frothy beige head. Bready malt aroma hints at stone fruit, honey and mango. Flavor upfront is bittersweet citrus, unripe peach and pineapple. There is an underlying bready maltiness that balances this brew nicely. Light pine notes in finish.

Can at home. Hazy, unclear, almost milky pale yellow color, white head. Aroma is hoppy, don't get much more. Flavor is malts, hops, a bit sweetish. Average body, a bit thin watery texture, firm carbonation. Okay.

Can from Beer Republic. Hazy yellow, thin, white head. Aroma of fresh peach, mango, pineapple, grapefruit peel, lime zest, spruce, tangerine, vague dough. Taste has sweetish peach, mango & tangerine, bitter grapefruit peel & spicy pepper, zesty accent over doughy maltiness. Floral & peppery hoppy finish, zesty citrus, touch of dank onion, lingering bitter stonefruit & grapefruit. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. NEIPA alright but with an unmistakeable 'classic American' twist.

Rocky white head left a froth on a hazy golden coloured still body. Stewed fruit, apricot & malt aroma. Full bodied, smooth, sticky & cloying with a lighter clean back. Orange, syrup, concentrated fruit juice &alt tastes with a bitter hopped up pine finish. Class!

Tropical and dank. Pineapple and mango flavor, with a contributing hoppiness to it. The Phigtins got swept by the worst team in the National League, and Tottenham lost to some team I've never heard of, in a worthless competition.
