Description
SingleCut Beersmiths was founded by Queens/NYC born, music-obsessed brewer Rich Buceta, whose life-long passions led to a place where hops and vinyl could shine side by side. After years of homebrewing and professional stints around NYC, Rich was true to his dream, diving headfirst into the brewing world. “My obsession is creating original hop-driven beer; distinguished by a firm respect and admiration for West Coast pioneers, and bending that to our East Coast / NYC interpretation.” Since opening in 2012, and with the help of an equally talented and devoted team, SingleCut has gained a loyal following throughout the East-Coast’s most respected markets. With his steadfast determination for the perfect pint, Rich penned "Mastery Knows No Shortcut" as the SingleCut mission statement. “It boils down to always demanding greatness, never compromising, and always play it at maximum volume.”

Pours a wonderful hazy golden from a can. Big tropical fruit and citrus fruit aroma and flavor, maybe some light green onion. Similar flavor. Very good beer.

Pours a hazy orange from a can. Aroma is fantastic: pine, melon, citrus, amazingly well-balanced. Falls down a little in the mouth, but same overall profiles. Mouthfeel is fine. That aroma really had me excited though; friends think I'm being harsh but it's just not as impressive once it hits your tongue. Pretty good beer.

Tall can from ktown liquor at home. 5 months old unfortunately. Hazy opaque light peach pour. Puffy white head. Aroma is fuzzy citrus bitterness with peach and lemonade sweetness. Taste is mainly citrus pith bitterness, with some juice to balance but the pithiness is overriding. Palate is nice and fluffy. Lasting bitterness.

16 oz can from John, thanks man! Canned 5/28/21. Consumed 7/20/21. Hazed brighter orange color, white head, solid lace. Punchy grapefruit and pine hops. Melon and orange as well. Definitely not subtle.

Can at home. Hazy ugly pale yellow color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, citrusy, light citrus peel notes, sweetish notes slightly but an alright bitter touch as well. Quite okay.

Can at home. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, tropical fruit hoppiness and moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad. Edit: after pouring in the second half of the can all of a sudden I'm drinking fucking fruit juice. Ugly as fuck. Down from a 6 to a 2.
