Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Black, small head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Mid dry with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and dark chocolate. Velvetty finish with masked bitterness. How rare it has become with dry cask stouts these hipster days.

(Cask) Clear pale amber with small short lived white head. Subtle malty aroma with citrus hints. Light body with nice soft carbonation giving good mouthfeel. Nice slightly tart citrusy foretaste with floral hints. Mid palate has some subtle toffee. Pleasant moderately bitter finish. Nice easy drinking beer.

[Cask at the Golden Retriever, Bracknell.] A bright golden amber pour with a tight cream head that produced excellent lacing; biscuity aroma; biscuit and caramel taste; and a bittersweet finish with a hint of citrus. Rather good; went very well with roast beef and all the trimmings.
