We are Boss Brewing, a multi-award-winning craft beer brewery from Swansea, South Wales. Our main boss is a woman; we’re one of the few female owned and led breweries in the UK.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A bright amber pour with a billowing white head and lively carbonation; aroma of banana and yeast; smooth malty body with caramel and some estery fruit; then some banana and spice to finish.

Black beer, thin head. Light malty smell. Light malt, chocolate, vanilla, lightly smoked. Light but tasty.

Can from Mark. I can see why the ratings are all over the place for this beer. Starts off like a hazy, then adds a healthy dose of caramel malts. Sweet, part time fruity, part times malty. Smooth for a DIPA.

330ml can from Copper Bar, Swansea. Orangey amber colour, white foam head and mellow hop aroma. Taste is malt caramel with some astringent woody hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK.

Tap at Copper Bar, Swansea. Golden colour, no head and solventy fruity apple aroma. Taste is sour, fruity, apple, solventy, funky with some apple flesh and strawberry, vanilla, yogurt like notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium dry finish. Quite OK

Tap at Copper Bar, Swansea. Deep amber colour, white foam head and malty hoppy aroma. Taste is malt, caramel with some tangy yeasty fruity earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK

Can at PoW, Farnborough. Citrus and soda aroma. Light gold. Healthy foamy white head. Mesium bitter with sour citrus kick. Softer finish. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Add lemonade to a pale ale.

22nd Nov 2018, cask half-pint, hand-pulled at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire. Light amber body, white crown. Slight peaty aroma within the hoppy nose, grapefruit flavours leading to fairly dry finish. Decent.

Fra cask på Southwark Tavern ved Borough Market nov-18: klar gylden med ok skum. Milde citrusfrukter, honning, urter, hint av skogbunn. Mild urteaktig bitterhet i ettersmaken. Passet fint til mine fish& chips.
