Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Ive been brutally honest with Boss so far so ive decided to give this another chance on cask. Pours gold with thin mist. Aroma is lightly sweet. Taste has a boiled sweet touch, sweet malt, a little oily, rather thin. Not really impressing here either. 330ml can from Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool. Pours a misty golden orange, frothy white head. Aroma has light pithy tangerine-like fruit, pale malt. Taste brings biscuity pale malt, light bitter grapefruit, not especially juicy. In a year of hazy juice bombs, this has a long way to go.

Can from ASDA, Shotton. Straw-blonde in colour with a small head and fair carbonation. Light hoppy and light fruity in taste, with a better stated nose in the latter respect.

Sample from 33 cl can. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with peppers, fruits and grasses. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with fruits and a pepper note. Odd.
