Pours unclear blonde. No real head. Smell is full, tad spiced. Mild Brett, oaky and tart. Taste is full, tart, oaky, Brett, very dry ending. Bit watery. OK, but to much of a wet cellar aroma.

Pours a hazy straw-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of pineapple, hops, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart pineapple, grapefruity hops, mildly funky yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is tart with a pineapple and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

03/07/18, impressively sour mix flavored, soda whiskey nose and front. weirdly reminds me of what I used to drink exclusively for a period of my life. Good weird. I like it!

Bottle shared by Gene at the Omaha Ratebeer/ Untappd summer gathering. Aroma has mild plums, light apricot. The flavor has a surprisingly strong plum character. Had no idea what Li Hing Mui powder was until today. The strong character of plum makes sense. Nice sour.

(Thanks, Gene trvlr) Bottle. A- Plums. A- Gold color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Plums, tart. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- I love Li Hing Mui powder and haven't seen it since my days in Hawaii. In fact I wish more brewers would experiment with it. Add some pineapple and this would be really tasty. Tasted like sour plums as expected.
