Pint can - hazy gold with a fizzy head - nose of melon rind, lemon zest, pepper, herbal hoppiness, light earthy funk, rustic graininess - full and soft in the mouth - dry, herbal, rustic, lightly spicy - finish is peppery, moderately bitter, and dry - the finish has some faint vegetal quality way in the background, but otherwise this drinks real good.

Pint can - billed as an imperial porter with pumpkin and vanilla - 8.1% - black pour - roasty and earthy nose - flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, moderately roasty - roast and black malt create a coffee character, followed by a vanilla sweetness and an earthy toasted pumpkin finish - understated and fairly well-balanced, which is more than I can say for a lot of pumpkin beers.
