Aromas are lots of dark malts with cocoa, oak and not much else. Flavors are similar to nose and quite sweet. Just maybe some vanilla but no coconut. Just another over sweet imperial Stout.

Aromas are resin, citrus, malt and straw. Maybe some sweat. Flavors are better than nose. Bittersweet with good tang. Add in hints of MJ, melon and stone fruit. Kind of a cross between a West Coast and a Hazy.

Tap at 3 Sheeps. Deep oats, but sort of misses the mark on some levels. Would probably go over better on a hand pump I'm sure. Big caramel, bittersweet chocolate. Sort of middle of the road, not a great example of the style.

Tap at 3 Sheeps. Clear orange-tan body. A little drier than typical, but still tastes like a juicy IPA hop wise, just thinned out some .doubt their is much C hop other than Citra or Cashmere or something along those lines. Not stupendous, but certainly drinkable, enjoyable.

Fairly long-lasting moderate offweight head on top of a not very hazy, tarnished brass liquid. Aromas are citrus rind, damp ground and a bit of resin. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet with good carbonation and citrus coming out more. Finish is a little more sweet than bitter. Not bad not great.

Appearances are a short lived light tan head over a dark reddish brown liquid. Aromas are roast, malt, oak, caramel. Flavors are similar to nose, add in some dates. Mildly sweet overall. Personally I prefer a traditional toasty Vienna Oktoberfest. But this isn't bad on a offbeat variation.

Aromas are dark malt, roast, cocoa and maybe a hint of cinnamon. Flavors are similar to nose with cinnamon coming out more. Moderately sweet. No sign of heat. Just as I was finishing this review I picked up the barest hint of heat in the finish. Wish it was more.

Tap at Triple Taproom. Really sweet, really heavy. Maple and coffee come through strong. Great morning Stout to share among friends or yourself. A little syrupy, but bold and rich and flavorful too. Like an even more sugary, pronounced KBS. Good for what it is.

Tap at Triple Taproom MKE. Really nice interplay between the big malts and the big barrel. Captures the English Barleywine flavor while building on it with barrel depth. Big obviously, but rather drinkable. Good.
