Bottle @ Pours Points, Brown Dear, WI. Pours black with a foamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, chocolate, lactose. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, lactose, a bot of licorice. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish. 121119

12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 10/12/19. Black, large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, a bit of soy. Taste is roast, chocolate, nuts, lactose. Medium bodied, a hint of booze, low carb. Decent.

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine Brookfield, 9/27/19. Black, thin fizzy dark brown head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, bourbon. Taste is roast, strong bourbon, vanilla, caramel. Banana is kinda present in tone but not in smell and taste. Just a wisp. Medium bodied, still, booze present but very hidden. Yet still a bit hot. Overall good if a little enigmatic.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2019. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains, light spice, a hint of roast and some dark fruits underlying. Flavor has dark grains, raisin, chocolate, roasted malts and a bit of chilies underlying.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2019. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has tart but sweet citrus with some sweet grains backing. Flavor has dry citrus, light sweet grains and a bit of citrus rind underlying.

The Aromas are oxidized Hops and pale malt. Flavors are much better, slightly sweet up front, balanced with good carbonation, a combination of lemon, orange and pine resin hops with bitterness coming on a little in the Finish. Decent body and drinkable beer.

I guess I'm kinda popping the 2019 Fall cherry. My first oktoberfest of the season, to my knowlege atm. 12 ounce bottle from Woodman's Appleton, 9/15/19. Hazy dark red, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, toffee, mild piney hops. Taste is caramel, berries, citrusy hops. Medium bodied, low carb, moderate bitterness, well balances.
