Description
ABC has started gypsy brewing (meaning they are using other brewery facilities to brew and package their beer) through Twelve Percent Beer Project.
Abomination - A thing that causes disgust or hatred.
While our beer certainly won't cause you disgust, it is a founding idea the company was based on. Dating as far back as 1487 the Reinheistgebot or, German beer purity act, had varying degrees of stringency across the centuries. beer could only be: hops, barley, water, and yeast. well, fuck that.
Abomination is here to usurp these laws, and show that there is beauty in disgust and curiosity beyond hatred. What are bounds but construct of man? Should anyone be confined to laws other than that of science and fact? We pilgrimage to these thoughts, and it is here that we reside. To push bounds.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a two finger foamy head which popped up to being somewhat rocky head above the glass ever so slightly; this dissipated to leave some mellow sliding lace
Aroma: citrusy, semi-sweet fresh grass, light pine and a delicate biscuity malt base
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas nicely; semi-crisp citrusy aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability about this; semi-smooth and a touch of dryness on the tongue; finishes crisp with some citrusy hop dryness to it
Overall: pretty nicely done APA or possibly NEPA depending upon who you talk to. I could have again.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: golden bronzed color in the glass with a two finger white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace to leave some spotty lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, white chocolate, vanilla beans, coffee beans and a subtle roastiness
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend sweet and roasty; mild aftertaste of the vanilla beans and coffee
Texture: medium bodied, leans towards being a sipper; semi-smooth along tongue; finishes creamy sweet
Overall: though I'm not always taken in by this "white stout" sort of thing, I had to try this and wasn't appalled, I think I could come back to.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: burnt orange cardboard haziness in the glass with a one and a quarter fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light spotty lace
Aroma: Citra and Mosaic hops snap on some semi-sweet wheaty tones and allow some pumpkin fleshy sweetness, light vanilla and milk sugar to mix in the blend
Flavor: semi-sweet, dry hopped sort of dry sweetness; pumpkin pie spice tones; no aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat a sipper; semi-smooth along the tongue; finishes with the pumpkin fleshy sweet and the Citra & Mosaic hops
Overall: who knew that I could like a milkshake IPA after all. It's not usually a style I feel the need to try all the time but this brewer did it and I would see myself coming back to this.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: cardboard orange haziness, two finger white foamy head dissipated finely to leave some messy lace
Aroma: citrusy to woody hoppiness, small herbal tones, clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas bittersweetly with a juicy hoppy aftertaste
Texture: about medium bodied, good sipper, smooty juicy finish
Overall: I'd say a very nicely done NEDIPA well worthy of having again.

16 oz. can. Aroma is orange, melon, and abundant sweet bread. Like Hawaiian rolls. Flavor follows. Has a strong amount of juice texture with almost no bitterness. Maybe a touch of herb. I really liked it for the first 7 or 8 ounces. Then the sweetness really starts to stack up.

16 oz can Aroma is a mixture of passionfruit, mango, and white grape like hints. The flavor is a wonderful expression of the aroma. Tons of juicy tropical fruit with grapelike notes. Texture explodes with juice. This is indeed a juice monster! Best Iβve had from abomination in a while!
