About
Eurisko is a taproom-focused brewery located on Asheville’s South Slope in downtown. We strive to make beers that reflect the standards of tradition while still allowing ourselves to play with modern processes. From West Coast IPAs, dry Belgian-style saisons, and traditional German styles all the way to big luscious imperial stouts, barleywines, and modern hop experiments, we try to cover as many bases as possible.

12 ounce can from the brewery, 6/4/23. Dark brown, large brown head, poor retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, cherry, clay. Taste is chocolate, caramel, cherry, roast. Slick, booze well hidden. Nice.

Single from Appalachian via my lovely wife. Mojito glass @home. Hazy, raspberry tea, blotty head. Pie crust, amaretto, cloying syrup. Sharp grain, astringent cherry, amaretto, marzipan, bittersweet herbal finish. Very weak Co2. Just too dense & direct to drink legitimately. Needs a short pour & some serious force carb.

Bottle from the brewery, 5/4/23. Nice nightcap. Oily looking dark brown, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of strong coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is roast, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, honey, nuts. Full bodied. Mild booze. Well balanced. Really good.
