$9.49 500 ml bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours murky brown with a dusting of a head. Aroma is ripe stone fruit, bubblegum, dark fruit. Flavor is ooh nice: sweet dark cherry, stone fruit, alcohol, bubblegum, yeast, light glue, barrel. I'm sorry I passed this one by so many times.

4oz draft pour at Spacebar. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small off-white head. Aroma was chocolate, roasted malts. Caramel notes. Very light chocolate and coffee roast, creamy. Vanilla notes, some light boozy notes.

Keg at Sedona. Black, thin creamy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, roast dark chocolate. Taste is roast, coffee, dark chocolate. Thin, a little harsh. Booze apparent.

Tap at Sedona. Pours slightly hazy golden, Aroma is weak: minor grass, light fruit, herbs. Flavor is grass, minor fruit (I would not call this blueberry). Some herbal notes - I suppose this is basil, but it just tastes medicinal. Meh.

$10.79 500ml bottle from Wine Warehouse., bottled 6/2/17. Pours golden with a dusting of a head. Aroma is tart apple, hay, light barnyard. Flavor is yeast, hay, a little funk (not strong), apple skin, oak, white wine, earth.

12 oz pour on draft at Mekong. Served in a Belgian snifter. Aromas of milk and dark chocolates, caramel, vanilla. Tastes of caramel, roasty notes, vanilla, nutty notes, dark chocolate. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Well masked alcohol. Pretty good.
