Description
Birdsong Brewing Company began in December 2011 in Charlotte NC out of a love for great beer and good conversation. We produce unfiltered, flavorful craft brews that are both balanced and representative of our fun and quirky brewery family. We are proud to be a part of the growing craft beer community in Charlotte!

We are located at 1016 North Davidson Street and are open Tuesday-Friday from 3pm until 10pm, Saturdays from 12pm until 10pm, and Sundays from 12pm until 8pm. Our goal is to create outstanding beer, to have a low impact on the environment, and to create personal relationships and ties to the local community. We are proud to be the first solar powered brewery in Charlotte as of December 2017!

Once you come to Birdsong, you're as good as family. Sit back, relax, and grab a beer--chat it up with the bartenders and make new friends with the regulars.

Draft at the source. Pretty close to opaque brown black color tan head. Aroma of burnt espresso and orange peel. Freshly grated orange zest up front in the aroma with burnt licorice espresso bitter cocoa. Delicious.

Draft at Davidson Street Public House. Pretty much opaque brown color, see pic please. Aroma of burnt brownies dipped in coffee. Taste is burnt earthy espresso. Very tasty.

Can: Extremely cloudy yellow-brown with a short, off-white head. Orange, wheat scent. Taste is mildly bitter orange-peel, orange malt, wheat malt. Nicely done.....good wheat base and balanced hoppiness.

Can (thanks to Weihenweizen). Floral orange, wheat malt, and orange peel aroma. Cloudy yellow with small head. Moderately sweet orange/lemon (linalool), wheat malt, and moderately bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body. Very nice hoppy wheat ale.

Refrigerated 16 oz. aluminum m can poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy light orange with thick yellow highlights. Aroma is nice herbal hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is herbal hops, some lemon, and pine hops.

Draft at the source. Murky golden amber color, see pic please. Nice aroma of vanilla, booze, tannins. Taste is boozy sweet tannic. Tasty.
