Description
Rooted in Northern Nevada, Revision Brewing Co. touts a hefty lineup of world-awarded ultra-premium beers distributed throughout 15 states in the U.S. and 8 countries. The brewery specializes in IPAs, New England-Style IPAs, Reds, Lagers, Porters, Stouts, Pastry Stouts, Barrel-Aged Beers and most recently, hard seltzers. Revision Brewing Company beers have won awards in the US, Japan, Australia, Germany, and Belgium.

Revision Brewing Company stemmed from Brewmaster Jeremy Warren’s desire to start a brewery that embraced creative freedom. For Revision, that transcends from beer to label. The art of brewing is united with art itself with Revision labels featuring over twenty artists on ever-rotating IPA releases, keeping the labels as fresh and innovative as the beer itself.

The brewery also has a rebellious flair that can be seen by the edgy incorporations & a Wild West mentality which is prevalent in the branding at Revision. Reno as F*%k Hazy IPA was awarded Gold at 2019 World Lupulin Challenge Juicy Double IPA Category and has such a draw that the brewery decided to launch Vegas as F*%k Hazy IPA to show their Nevada roots across the entire state. The AF beers are highly sought after by locals and people visiting the state and are one of the best sellers for the brewery.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours gold with an enthusiastic white head that did not persist. Aroma of peach and guava. Medium body.Fruity and lightly malty. Somewhat un dry. Bitter in a somewhat smoothie smooth way flavor is peach and guava and there’s a definite pine note. Not getting resin. Nice drink.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: yellow cardboard cloudiness with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: piney, mixed citrusy, orangey and lemony hop tones; lean malty vibes underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes mixed citrusy to piney hop bitterness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, smooth along the tongue, nice low carb but the hop bitterness is a wee higher than expected
Overall: not bad - the aromas & flavors are nice to great but once again - if ya gonna make a New England styled IPA pull down that hop bitterness please.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: cloudy orange color with a two finger white foamy head which trailed off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: oranges, nectarines, pineapples and peachy hop tones; light biscuity malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes more nectarine & pineapple-y
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also some hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: nice aromas and flavors but pull back some of that hop assertiveness and this could be a heck of a lot better.

Appearance: bright yellow to orange cloudiness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: piney, orangey, melon-like, grapefruit and a little bit of danky/hemp hop character; light clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet juicy quality; finishes semi-piney and danky with a touch of dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning into being sessionable, nice low carb, low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: to me, this is definitely one of the better to best beers of Revision to date.
