Draft sample at the 9th Annual Summertime Brews Festival, Greensboro, 7/13/13. Pours a clear dark red color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, nuts, earthy hops. The taste is sweet malts, roasted malts, earth, bitter hops. Thin-medium bodied, lingering bitterness.
