Sample at the Hopsnobbery Collective tasting on 12/10/08: Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a can. The beer pours a clear light amber-yellow color with a medium thin and creamy light beige head that diminishes slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit and hops, malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a lingering bitterness left behind. Pretty good all around.

(10/27/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in San Francisco. Clear deep amber color. Aroma of malt and some toasty notes. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of toast, caramel and light fruitiness, and finishes with mild hoppy bitterness. Not bad, just boring.
