Nice tasty and session able dark lager More or less black pour and a fine thick tan head. Looks fine and inviting Pleasant intensity in the aroma Mellow sweetness and a fine carbonation level Easy to drink Dark malt, bread, fruity, roast and chocolate in the flavor [On tap @ source] Brewery # 2612

1l plastic bottle from the brewpub. Head is thin, off-white, quick gone. Colour is deep gold to amber, light hazy. Aroma is mostly ginger and dried sugary ginger. Taste is medium malty base, bready, ginger, bit spicy herbal, soft carbonation, decent bitterness, good ginger beer.

From tap @ the source. Head is big, tan, good retention. Colour is dark coppery, hazy. Aroma is malty, bit chocolate, bit caramel, bready. Taste is medium malty base, bit caramel, toast, chocolate, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, not very for the style, still enjoyed.

From tap @ the source. Head is medium, egg-white, average retention. Colour is orange amber, hazy. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits. Taste is medium malty base, grapefruit, orange, tropical fruits, pine resin, long lasting bitterness, medium carbonation, very good, enjoyed for sure.

From tap @ the source. Head is big, tan, good retention. Colour is dark, clear. Aroma is dark malts, bready, light hoppy, caramel touch. Taste is medium malty base, roasted tones, coffee, dark chocolate, soft carbonation, nice balanced bitterness, dry on the palate, very good, fully enjoyed.
