Canned (as Estrella Damm N. A.). Clear pale golden, brief airy head. Mostly watery. Empty and vacuum-like with the vaguest notes of vanilla and grain. No bitterness, nor any saccharine or wort flavours.

0.75L bottle, fluffy head, hazy light orange colour, wheaty aroma with ripe oranges, some spices, and something medicinal in the back, flavours of wheat and citrus with some metalic traces in the back. Classic belgian witt profile but could be much more assertive and interesting.

What a name, eh? Damm it all. Smell is a little vejgie on the pop and continues into the glass. Typical beer pale yellow with some visible carbonation. Smell goes a little metallic and that runs into the taste during the first slug. Is this the pale yellow macro of spain? Perhaps....Seems kinda mexican to me n’ dat. I like cheap pale lagers and this is OK with me. Now, I’m not sure if it is a jewel or not but it certainly does not come across as more than 5%. Well, estralla, what does your name interpret to in spanish? Barcelona is within the reach of US macros fer sure. Reminds me of el presidente in peurto rico man. Taste is like seeing the confounded bridge. Typical, little more than session, pale yellow american lager; but its made in spain. Finish is trying to come across like a czeck pilsner but never quite gets there.

33 cl bottle. Pours golden colour with a quickly vanishing small white head. Aroma is mainly malty, hardly noticeable . Taste is sweet malt and some grain. Something about the taste that was not to my liking.

2009-06-25, Flaska 8 grader - vinglas, Göteborg Jästfällning. Först klar sedan alt molnigare. D: Yest! S: Jäst, citrus, naturell laktris, fruktig, liten tunn men endock fyllig smak, halvtorr. Hade vunnit på att vara mer fyllig! ES: lång eftersamak av ovan. Notera: koriandern - var hittade de den. Föredömligt med liten informationslapp om det mesta om detta öl...
