Bottle from Eroski supermarket, Bilbao. Clear pale golden colour, fast disappearing white head. Aroma is malty and skunked. Flavour is very malty, metallic, very dry and bitter. Dry finish. Disgusting.

Pale golden color, small white head. Aroma of boiled corn, grains and metal. Fizzy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, corn-malty (diacetyl?) with some cooked vegetables. Watery palate. Low bitterness. A swill. Needs much freshier bottle (this is maybe 8 months old).

11.2 oz bottle into mug. Wow this is a stinky beer. Has that pungent skunk odor that so many Euro lagers have, which is strange considering the brown glass. You know you’ve got a hold of a crappy beer when a brown bottled beer is skunked. Also quite grainy in the nose. Appearance, on the other hand, is pretty good. Pours a clear pale gold with a thick rocky head that leaves some surprisingly good lace. Bubbles are a little too big, though. Taste is hay, metal, cotton candy and sulfur. Maybe it’s Dammed? Very bad. My joke and the beer, that is. Higly carbonated and thin bodied. Watery. I only bought this so I could get Spain on the map. Won’t be buying it ever again I can say with some pretty good certainty!

Bottle from the Natomas BevMo. Pours gold with a 3 finger foamy white head. Mild aromas of malt and hop. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is brisk, bready and moderately hoppy. Perhaps a touch of diacetyl. Finishes dry and decently bitter. Drinkable.

Can courtesy Saxo bought in Greece. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Bad bready aroma and flavor. Short finish. Very watery palate. bad.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color ale with some white haze and a medium size foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of coriander and some orange peel notes is somewhat bland. Taste is also an average mix between some orange peel with notes of coriander and light wheat malt. Body is too thin for style with some good carbonation. Makes you wonder why El Bulli decided to get associated with this beer as this is really average overall. 2017 re-rate: This is actually more flavorful then when I rated in 2010 with more wheat malt and light spices note coming through. Still nothing to go out of your way .
