Keg at Urban Brewing, Dublin, 03/11/23. Light black with a beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, liquorice, molasses, dried fruit rinds, charr. Taste comprises fruit cake, chocolate, spice, molasses, dark malts, raisins, toffee, spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boozey edge. Okay sipper if lacking some depth to the flavour for a double digit affair.

Keg at Urban Brewing, Dublin, 03/11/23. Light black with a good sized lasting beige head. Nose is mellow roast, hint of chocolate, brown sugar dusting, toffee. Taste comprises dark malts, cocoa powder, sea salt, dried fruit rinds, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stout if a little stuck in third gear.
