Refrigerated pint can, July 24, 2020 poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy light orange with small white head. Aroma is clove, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is clove, banana, and bubble gum. May have been even a little better fresher.

Week old pint can A: Poured a short dark tan head over an almost pitch black body. Fair retention and sheets of lace. S: Light sweet scent of mainly milk chocolate and creamy coffee. T: Roasty, bitter and slightly creamy with roast grains, strong coffee and a bitter dark chocolate and faint tart fruit aftertaste. M: Deceptively thin for its strength, slick and slightly astringent. Average carbonation and somewhat dry finish. O: Nice, balanced flavors and inviting aroma. Overall though, nothing really stands out. Expensive too, so not a repeat buy.

2 week old pint can A: Lightly hazed pale gold with a frothy loose white head that fell to a thick ring. S: Lemon lime citrus and underripe melon. Light overall with sweet cake notes underneath. T: Bitter, tart but thin flavors of lemon lime zest and pith. Lingering citrus pith, florals and wood join to save it. M: Medium light with average carbonation and a very resinous finish. O: I'm a Wise Man fan and had high hopes but while this is good, the Citra version is much better.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy gold with a large/huge foamy/frothy white head. Aroma of orange citrus and melon. Pale malt notes. Nearly full bodied. Juicy/bitter. Not very dry. Orange citrus, green melon, caramel support, maybe passion fruit. Lovely stuff.

16oz can from Tavour. Thick, hazy straw colored pour, fizzy head leaves thin skin behind. Light bready aroma, hint of grapefruit. Taste comes in soft, more bready malts and light citrusy notes. Super smooth. Super tasty.

3 week old pint can A: Medium hazy dull pale gold body with 1/2 of foam that fell fast. S: Weak aroma of tangerine and other under-ripe citrus and faint cake or graham crackers. T: Lightly bitter and tart at once with citrus pith and pulp quickly follwed by light cracker notes and seltzer. M: Light and thin with prickly carbonation and clean finish. O: I've been loving Wise Man beers but this one's a miss.

Can (6/19/20) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is REALLY pretty opaque pinkish-red with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width fizzy white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet/tart raspberry over blackberry. Taste follows aroma exactly. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with somewhat watery texture, average carbonation, strong tart quality hitting me at the back of the mouth and crisp, dry finish. Overall, probably one of my favorite Berliner Weisses but that's because I don't like the traditional style. The flavored, fruited variety makes it palatable to me. But, people who like the style must be going, WTF? And, either way, this seems so far away from what I think of as beer. Is beer now just a way of saying how something was made? A pretty enjoyable beverage.

16 oz. can. Beautiful magenta color. Aroma is all blackberry and raspberry purée. Flavor pops with the fruit and has a mild yogurt hint in the back end. Solid tartness in the finish that is balanced by fruit.

Can from Chris, thanks for the opportunity! Lightly hazy dark pink in color with a white head that has a tint of pink in it. Big berry aroma and flavor. Lemony with hints of grapefruit and guava. Pretty tasty tart smoothie.
