Can to snifter.
Is this the same beer from the Inertia series with the "salted pretzel, pb puff cereal, chocolate, vanilla and milk sugar?"
Because it seems that way and they just changed the name and slapped a new label on it.
Hmmm...because I really don't see much difference in the review from that beer to this beer other than this beer seeming like it might be a little "watered" down.

Hmmm...because I really don't see much difference in the review from that beer to this beer. Don't get me wrong this is still a nicely done beer but it's almost "not" a unique for me.

Hmmm...because I really don't see much difference in the review from that beer to this beer. It's still mostly as good as the other one.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark red to stuffy purple color with a finger's worth of pink frothy head which slipped off at a nice pace to leave some super light lace
Aroma: strawberry sweet and tart character; raspberry sweet and tart character, subtle cherry sweetness and a huge amount of vanilla/milk sugar; subtle funk further down in there
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet and subtle funky tone while some tart and slightly sour notes roam in underneath; finishes leaning into the strawberries, raspberries and a helluva lotta creamy/vanilla/milk sugar
Texture: medium bodied, fairly sessionable; great creamy smoothness to this beer; good carb level
Overall: well, I liked this one for me as a fruited tart ale with a huge milk sugar/vanilla character but where was the salt? Eh, yeah well, it is what it is.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: cloudy red color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissolved nicely and left some light lace
Aroma: raspberry sweet and tart tones and a huge dose of vanilla/lactose
Flavor: basically the same as the aromas but a lot less tart; finishes like creamy sweet raspberries
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; pretty smooth and creamy all along the tongue and no noticeable hop bitterness anywhere
Overall: I understand this is a milkshake IPA and "get it" that sometimes some milkshake IPA's might not have any hop bitterness assertiveness but maybe that's also why I'm not exactly sold in the entirety of this style, this beer was fine.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow-ed cardboard hazy color with two fingers worth of white foamy head. Some messy lace.
Aroma: sweet papaya & sweet, tart and sour aspects of the yuzu; slight lemony scents with some grassy hop whiffs
Flavor: yielded to a fairly nice blend of sweet to tart to slightly sour characters of the prior noted aromas; finishes through absorbing the fruity tart to sour and sweet juices
Texture: medium bodied; leaning towards being a sipper; the carb felt fine and some smoothness was subtly there
Overall: not a bad one of the series, I might be able to return to this.

You know strawberry whale cake which was the original "whale cake?"

Well, this beer is pretty much the exact same thing just replace the strawberry with watermelon in aroma & flavor, doesn't really change the texture or nothing noticeable to me.

And this is one I'd return to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: bright orange hazy color with a finger's worth of an off-pink foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: red raspberry sweet and tart character; sweet and tart plum, some sweet wheaty tones
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sour to tart to sweet quality and adds in a little bit of salt; finishes leaning into the sour to sweet to tart combination of raspberries and plums
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also some tart to sour harshness to the tongue
Overall: nice enough fruited tart wheat ale with some salt in it, I could see myself coming back to this.
