16 oz. can purchased at the brewery. Hazy bright yellow with some head that stay until the end of the snifter. Aroma show the juice without a question: oranges, lemons and grapefruit. The flavor is same as the aroma with weak pine bitterness in the finish. The body is light and on the thin side with acidic grapefruit notes.

Tall-boy can picked up 2 days ago @ the brewery. Very dark golden orange 1 finger white head. Smells great. Very juicy, effervescent with a ton of great hop presence and straight up juice. Tastes very weak, thin, the wheat body helps but it has more of a 3% taste than a 6% taste. Grapefruit juice seems to only be thinning out the beer. There’s a little creamy texture to it. Citrus juices only add a lot of acidity and detract from wheat body. not a fan.

Draft at Burlington Beer Company. No head sitting on top a black liquid. Delicate, light coffee, roasty and caramel malts. Seems really balanced with some mild coffee bitterness.
The flavor is about right; caramel, toffee, roasted malts, and light cocoa. Mouthfeel does show a mild smooth, creamy texture which I look for. Really drinkable and sessionable but the thinner body is the only negative. Maybe adding oats to pump up the body would help with a lot without changing the ABV much. Has potential.

Draft at the brewery, deep brown / almost black color, no head. Aroma is heavy on oak, and a light red grape notes, mild undefined funk.
The flavor reminds me of a watered down red wine. Hints of blackberry, funky plums. I don’t know much about Malbec wine or the blend of red Bordeaux wine but this brew has lots of tannic character with a thin body. Perhaps a red wine drinker would enjoy this a lot. Not a bad brew it’s just out of my knowledge zone.

Draft at the brewery, murky dirty mahogany color, thin head. Aroma is charred nuts, dried autumn leaves, and English yeast. This is all roast and sweet or dirty malt flavors, sugar.
No hop presence at all. For the gravity the flavor isn’t bad but not something I would want to drink a lot of. But is very chewy and dirty as far the texture goes. Simple and straight forward mild ale.

Draft at the source. It smells pretty damn nice limes, Pears, grapes, a bit of doughiness / biscuity malts, peaches and pears. Quite dry in texture with some lingering fruit.
Limes, peaches, tropical fruit and has a wheat like backbone in the flavor with a brisk carbonation. The finish is dry, biscuity and filled with moderate fruitiness from both hop and whatever the hell is in the barrel.

Dark red appearance. aliments head after the pour. Smells nice. Wine forward, red wine, tannins and oak. Brett already going to work. The malt backbone is thin, oily, sweet. Certainly has some home-brew elements, decent finish. the brett is leading to some vinegar.
