On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a becher pint glass, nice to see the glassware is starting to catch on.
The appearance was a murky yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipates at a nice pace. Some ringed foamy lace runs around the glass.
The aroma has fresh citrus/lemon rind to juice sweet to bitter, sticky pulp. And then as it warms, sly sweet wheat underneath.
The flavor takes all of those previously mentioned aromas to blend nice and even across my tastebuds. Crisp balanced citrus to wheat aftertaste to quick semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Acceptable semi-sticky notes toying with my tongue.
Overall, blonde ale or pale ale? Perhaps a cross between both and damn nice.

Can, courtesy of Leighton. Cheers Sir! Bright gold. Soft haze. Film of lasting, white head. A bit leggy. Good looker. Nose has pear juice. Some white grape. Some pine sap. Background of wheaty grain. Taste has a sappy, grape juice sweetness. Turns robust, orange pith bitter. Medium body. Oily. Soft carbonation. Long, light, oily, zesty bitter finish.

T42 Bottleshare. Big thanks to Leighton for another US DIPA can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth, fairly dry with modest fine carbonation. Lovely piney tropical fruits, mango led. Bitterish pine and floralness. Mild tangy hop skunk. More tropical fruits, riper this time. Airy dry finish. Good stuff.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a golden burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating foamy head. No lacing.
The aroma takes on some sweet wheat and enacts a nice sour puckering semi-sweet kiwi fruitiness flowing over the sweet gooseberry.
The flavor blends the sour to the sweet and embraces the wheat again, almost grainy, but a nice graininess to it. Smooth semi-sour aftertaste flowing into the finish nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. For a sour style, it’s a bit smoother on my tongue with that wheat helping to smooth things out.
Overall, very nicely done American wild ale that I would have again.

Can shared in London - picked up in WRJ. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Fantastic aroma, vibrant citrus, melon, tangerine, pine needles. Medium sweet flavour with more hearty citrus, melon, grapefruit, tangerine, mellow bitterness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Great balance in the finish, more juicy citrus, a little rindy bitterness. Excellent overall. Super drinkable.

Can at level 42, thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, filthy, apricot, peach, persimmon, candy peel and brioche. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, grassy, green, dank. spring onion, earth, resin, boosty, floral, light alcohol boost and apricot with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty tasty gear.

Bottle shared on Level 42 12/01/2016. Huge thanks to Leighton for this one. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is super juicy dank hop, lemon, pine, juicy, plastic. Flavour is composed sweet juicy tangerine, orange juicy, light pine. Really God. Palate is semi sweet, resin, moderate carbonation. Fucking good.

Can split at Happy New Years L42 Shim Sham, thanks to Kenny, 12/01/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is dank hops, sticky trops, pine, grapefruit, orange wine gums. Taste comprises fresh grass, pine resin, grapefruit, straw, orange pith, melon, hop dust. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with light danko hop bitterness. Solid DIPA ... drinks fine and easy, great balance.

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark black color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Soft stringy lacing clings nicely.
The aroma starts off with a blend of the cranberry sweet to tart yet mild acidic tone running into the roast and the cocoa bean base, a rugged sweetness. Robust dry woodiness underneath.
The flavor yields to the roastiness first. Some sweet and tart cranberries and cocoa bean slide in decently. All of that combines but also gets a little bit of chalkiness in the feel.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a nice sipping quality about it. Carbonated nicely, a dry chalkiness grips my tongue in an acceptable way.
Overall, well, I may have over hyped it on untappd but still this is a very nice imperial stout that I would have again.
