Canned on 7/30/16.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a cloudy burnt orange color with a thin white foamy head quickly dissipating. Spotty lacing.
The smell had sweet and tart strawberry fruitiness up front. Subtle sweet cake-like creaminess underneath.
The flavor brings together all of the previously mentioned aromas. Sweet strawberry to creamy aftertaste with a sweet smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a really good crushability about it. Lightly carbed with a smooth semi-stickiness about it.
Overall, this borderline cream ale by style wants to take it to the next level with some genuine strawberries and me, yeah, I dig this. I’d have again.

Poured into sample glass at the brewery.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a glossy film of a white foamy head.
The smell started off with a dark toasty warmth of cocoa malts. Coffee bean is there. Cherry underneath, somewhat tart with a slight sweet to it.
The flavor takes on the sweet and toasty with a subtle tart underneath. Mainly toasty aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it, Carbonation feels good for what it is.
Overall, interesting imperial porter, once again, I like the concept but well, unsure if I could really come back to, maybe.

Sample glass at brewery.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a slim finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated quickly.
The smell started off with portions of dark and milk chocolate, slight peanut butter underneath, raspberry jelly even further.
The flavor leans sweet with a bit of roast on the side.Dry roasty aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good.
Overall, good for what it is but nothing really over the top. But I do like the concept if anything.

On tap at brewery.
Poured into a sample glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color close to black with a thin white to off white foamy head. Subtle thin lacing.
The smell started off with a big sprucy/piney needle-like glossiness roaming all around. Subtle underneath of dark malts- light chocolate, subtle rye.
The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned flavors combining nicely. sprucey with a subtle rye spice, still, a bold roastiness of the dark malts (snd some coffee/chocolate roast).
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a decent sessionable to sipping quality about it. Carbonation rides fairly light
Overall, good Imperial Stout with fun aspects going on. Would have again more likely in the Fall.

On tap at brewery.
Sample glass, good enough size to write about here.
The appearance was a semi-hazy/transparent burnt orange color with a glossy to filmy white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Light lacing.
The smell started off with a nice sour/sweet contour of the \"Brett\" tartness flowing into vinous and stringy lemon/citrus hops.
The flavor takes the previously mentioned flavors to ride right on into a sly sweet maltinesss all about it.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sour to sweet semi-harshness sticking but sliding on my tongue.
Overall, good American Wild ale for the most part.
