Light haze to the copper-brass liquid with a medium-sized white head that is fully dissipating.
Truly incredible nose shows off strawberry and light raspberry notes. I sniffed this for a good while and I found it highly enjoyable. Very light citrus and vanilla in the background with sparse malts adding just a touch of cracker. There’s a light wood element, some spiciness and more leafy, vegetal green notes. But mostly strawberry. Very cool, very unique. No alcohol or flaw.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t translate at all in to the flavor, instead leaving an earthy, mildly unclean character with definite notes of gasoline. Yeast, bread, cracker, woody notes and a low, slightly loose carbonation. Some mild bitterness, but mostly just a mess of earth, astringency and near gasoline....weird.

750 ml bottle thanks to AdamChan. Awesome appearance, oily viscosity on the snifter swirl, aroma is very nice. Coffee presence is strong, cake batter, charred grain.

The base has a solid amount of cake batter makes this stout. Coffee seems more forward in the aroma but still found in the flavor at a decent level. Mouthfeel is full and chewy. It drinks like,a much smaller stout, the 12 percent is hidden really well. Overall pretty well constructed.

75CL from the glorious HB, pitch black, tan head fades fast. This smells REALLY good. cocoa, fudge, coffee. the mouthfeel is really thin until a solid swish then it really blows up. It’s really nice. so whiskey is at this intense vanilla coconut flavor. coffee for days. even minutes later, still persists. This was nice.

16 oz. can with a date of 4/6/2016, thanks HeatherB! Cloudy gold, fast dying head. Aroma is an interesting mingling of berries, grapes. Maybe a herbal hint, almost like spruce.

Flavor is pale malt base, hops are fruity and herbal. Again grapes. Medium in body with a bitterness that is expected. Not bad but pretty average overall.

Can shared by Jason, thanks. Slightly hazy deep golden color. Spicy earthy piney hops with some faint bready maltiness lingering. Not too shabby, glad I got to try it.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt yellow color. Soft carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace to fill a rapidly dissipating one finger head. No lacing.
The smell, well, if anything, it really reminded me of lemon bread (fully combined), you know when your grandma comes over to your house and says \"here deary, here’s the lemon bread I made for you and your family.\" Its not bad, that’s just how it comes across to me.
The taste was pretty much the same - that sweet bready to lemon fruity sweetness.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a big sessionability about it. Could pound the crap out of this if I really wanted to, hmmm...sounds like a fishing boat beer.
Overall, light and sessionable, I don’t mind it, its just nothing over the top, would be great just sippin’ straight from the can, not thinkin’ about anything else in the world and just go fishin’.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a semi-dark brown close to black color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly dissipated. Lacing was light and semi-messy.
The smell started off with some roasty peanuts, light vanilla, subtle graham cracker, sly chocolate.
The taste was mostly sweet with that graham cracker flavor trying to give a lighter cracker-like balance. Chocolate comes back slightly. Subtle vanilla to chocolate aftertaste with a smooth dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation rides fairly light. Subdued bitterness.
Overall, nice imperial porter for the most part, I could see myself coming back to this.

yellow. hazy, 1 finger head. Aroma is a little cheesy with grapefruit skin and pine needles. lots of residual sugars coat the tongue, sweet, a little tannic with tropical fruit, stone fruit, pine. interesting.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow, small white head, dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is field grass, citrus, orange zest. Flavor is Belgian grassy, peppery, citrus. Very light sweet, light bitter, zesty and a bit acidic. Light plus body. Good.
