Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a nice looking bronzed yellow color with a fair transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at an ever so nicely set pace. Mild stringy yet sliding lace.
The aroma sets in on sweet pineapple arranging upon some sweet to danky onion evenly flowing in on sweet grassy tones and then accompanying some black pepper for a sly kick underneath. Light pine/resin even further underneath.
The flavor yields to the sweetness ininitally but that spice, and dankiness seems to come a bit more forward as it warms. Everything seems to arrange tightly into the aftertaste and rolling into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair crisp sessionably spot on gliding feel on my tongue. Black pepper seems to sit way further back and not effecting much harshness on my tongue.
Overall, damn nice DIPA well worthy of having again. Really glad having Banded Horn in Vermont, this brewery will be able to hang nicely in this state.

Poured from 500ml bottle dark cola color with nice lacing and a mocha head. Aromas of bakers chocolate rum caramel vanilla and roasted malt. Taste is medium mouth feel creamy follows aroma with a nice warming lingering rum finish.

Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a semi-cloudy subtle golden to yellow color with a two finger’s worth of white foamy head. Couple rings of sticky foamy lace against the glass, looked real nice.
The aroma had bitter and sweet citrusy to grassy hops flowing over a nice cracker sweet malty base.
The flavor blended the previously mentioned aromas together nicely. Adequate bitter hoppiness hits the spot in the aftertaste to move sweet and bitter on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt as intended by the brewer.
Overall, very nice India pale lager that I would have again. Woulnd’t mind doing a side by side with Von Trapp’s or Jack’s Abby.

Half liter bottle from the brewery. Near black, thin fizzy tan head, decent retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, oak, whiskey, molasses, vanilla, raisin. The taste is roasted malt, raisin, chocolate, whiskey, oak. Thin-medium bodied, low carbonation, a bit hot. Solid.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Citrus and resin aromas. Medium bodied with lemon/lime pith upfront turning to resin in the medium length finish.
