Description
Definitive Brewing was formed in 2017 when we came across lightning in a (beer) bottle. After months of planning, we were introduced to our now Director of Brewing Operations, and found an ideal location, all in a single week. Our investment group is made up of friends and family all with ties to Lake Cobbosseecontee in Manchester, ME. After 6 months of tireless efforts to transform an old scaffolding company into a production brewery and tasting room, we opened May 19, 2018 on the legendary Industrial Way.

After two years of operation in Portland, our team chose to open a second tasting room on May 22nd, 2020 in Maine's southernmost town, Kittery in the heart of the shopping district. Kittery is pillar in Maine's food and beverage scene, and the opportunity to become part of this phenomenal town was one that we could not pass up.

At Definitive Brewing we strive to provide a memorable tasting room experience for all of our customers. This is culminated by our wide variety of beers, including our Kolsch (Contee), Session Ales, IPAs, Stouts and Sours! Thank you for your continued support, and we hope to see you soon!

Pours hazy deep gold into a shaker. Bright white micro head with excellent retention recedes leaving gloppy lacing. Pineapple, guava and passion fruit aromas. Soft with mango skin, lemon joy and sweet white smarties upfront turning to earthy pith in the medium length finish.

Can from Jeff, Thanks for the opportunity! Hazy murky lemon yellow without much of a head. Lemony pine with bits of mango and citrus with some faint bready malt for structure.

Can from Jeff, thanks for the hookup. Hazy lemony yellow color with a thin tightly bubbled white head that persists. Huge vanilla aroma and flavor with a light sugary sweetness. Maybe some fruit from the hops and bread from the malt but this is all pastry.

16 oz. can. The mouthfeel is soft and has the juicy texture found in the style. Flavor show some light tropical hints with a good amount of grapefruit and citrus. Bitterness is low but here. Pretty well constructed and above average.

16 oz. Canned in August. Do I taste mango? Perhaps. What I do taste a lot of is herbal pine. Juice hint is canceled out by pine. Moderate bitterness. DIPA of yesteryear.

FD-14: The Purge. Thought it was nonsense twenty minutes in when the wife hits the treadmill after multiple glasses of wine and eating dinner, but after the dad got gutted, appreciated more, even with its predictably. Beer is good, first few sips...
