Got in a trade with SawDog505. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/31/2019. Pours opaquely hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense/creamy/rocky off white head with amazing retention, that reduces to nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, lychee, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, lychee, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, lychee, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is a fantastic NEIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; great soft feel. Fantastic Citra, Simcoe, & Topaz profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example.

Taster pour from can at Craft Brew Race, Worcester. Appearance is pale yellow hazy, cloudy, no discernible sparkle, thin off-white head. Aroma is kiwi, melon, hint of tropical fruit. Taste is strong for a session but is a dominant musty, almost funky bitter that drowns out the little bit of fruit that's there. Mildly tart. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with fairly thick, smooth texture, average carbonation and crisp, bitter finish. Overall, credit for strength of aroma, taste and even palate, for a session, but I like the aroma better than the flavor. That's not entirely to my liking.

Draft at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a deep ruby to purple with a finger of pink foam that lingers. Lovely berry forward nose with jammy blackberry and blueberry aromas with some vanilla as it warms. Creamy yogurt and fresh berry on the palate. Easy drinking with a creamy texture. Smooth berry and light tart yogurt on the finish.

Draft at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Pungent tropical fruit forward nose with mango, strawberry and citrus notes. Some pineapple on the palate with dank flavors. Smooth, fruit forward finish with some light piney bitterness to keep everything in check.

16 oz. can. The flavor starts with a mild amount of pale grain, citrus, straw, and some easy bitterness. The finish has straw, mild grape-ish hints and no alcohol. Light crisp body and texture. Overall, I am biased because I love the hop variety. This one displays the Nelson wonderfully.

Typical haze appearance. Aroma shows mild melon, and citrus rind. Flavor is Citra and mosaic dominant. The piney / herbal Simcoe is hidden in the background. Light juice. For the NE IPA style, maybe slightly above average.
