After two years of operation in Portland, our team chose to open a second tasting room on May 22nd, 2020 in Maine's southernmost town, Kittery in the heart of the shopping district. Kittery is pillar in Maine's food and beverage scene, and the opportunity to become part of this phenomenal town was one that we could not pass up.
At Definitive Brewing we strive to provide a memorable tasting room experience for all of our customers. This is culminated by our wide variety of beers, including our Kolsch (Contee), Session Ales, IPAs, Stouts and Sours! Thank you for your continued support, and we hope to see you soon!

Aromas are resin, citrus rind, wet grain and a hint of MJ. Flavors are similar to nose, with resin and rind coming on stronger. Not quite balanced bitter and sweet with carbonation. Good but not great.

16 oz can. Aroma is a ton of melon and melon rind. Flavor shows citrus, melon and a peach-ish hints. I don’t get white grape at all but I get a hint of grass or herb. I like the hop combo but was really hoping for more Nelson character.

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a cloudy yellow with an orange hue and white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a rich citrus with a nice mango and a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a nice combination of citrus and mango with some sweet grains and papaya.

16 oz can. Aromas, orange, marmalade, peach, and maybe light herb. Flavor followed the aroma with a pretty good amount of sweetness. Mild white grape that turns into smelly armpits as it warms. Drink this one cold!!

16oz can pours a pulpy, sunset orange with some frothy white head. Huge tropical nose, bay breeze and orange and papaya, some stone fruit. Flavor is sweet and tiki tropical, curacao orange and some maraschino cherries and melon. Big finish, boozy, sweet and fruity.

Aromas are grapefruit, MJ and malt. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly on the sweet side and carbonation is a bit soft. Good drinking, satisfying beer.

16 oz can. Aroma is similar to mango and candied pineapple. Flavor follows with a soft note of the Sabro / coconut flavor under the mango and pineapple. No herb or pine anyplace, yes! Very juicy texture with hidden alcohol. Very well crafted.

16 oz can. Older can date of 03/27/24. Aroma is floral with some mild pine hints. Flavor follows with floral and pine hops. Fruit is very mild at this stage of its life. Some dry herb bitterness. Overall, not my favorite hop combo but this certainly well made.

16 oz can. Dated 06/13/24. Aroma is freshly squeezed limes. Flavor has mild natural strawberry upfront. Soft lactic acid center with a juicy lime finish. Lightly tart and lightly acidic. Overall, it’s easy to drink. In the world of fruited sour ales, it’s pretty average.

Draft at Tap99. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Blueberry, vanilla, lactose, sweet finish.
